VLADIVOSTOK

The installation is a mechanical kaleidoscope driven by a stepper motor and Arduino Mega.

The kaleidoscope is based on stones from the glass beach of the city of Vladivostok, the body is modeled and printed on a 3D printer.

 

Using the light transmitted through the kaleidoscope and a focusing lens, the output is projected of what can usually be seen when looking through the opening.
